During clinic day patients were asked to wait in the gazebo pictured above. This beautiful open space was quickly turned into our younger patients' playground. They spent the afternoon in the sun chasing one another before our medical team evaluated them.
Dr. Yogi Aeron, our surgical outreach director, informed us that he often allows poor families in the area to borrow the gazebo free of charge so they have a space to celebrate weddings--making this waiting area not only beautiful but truly unique.
