Tucked away in the foothills of the Himalayas lies ReSurge’s surgical outreach program in Dehradun. Today, our team arrived ready to evaluate nearly 100 patients for surgery. As we walked up the hill to our work area for the day, a long line of patients lined the road to welcome us, each saying “Namaste” as we walked by. Every member of our team quickly joined in saying it back. With every step, a new “Namaste” was said and with this peaceful greeting, our work in Dehradun began.
