Some children have a way of lighting up the room when they walk in. This was the case with little Vaishnar. This energetic seven-month-old smiled his way through his entire medical evaluation. Vaishnar was born with a disfigured right nostril. His family brought him to us with the hope that surgery could help. Unfortunately, at this time, our team cannot operate on little Vaishnar. However, our occupational therapist worked with his parents to teach them how to expand Vaishnar’s nostril. With time, once Vaishnar’s nostril has expanded, he will become a good candidate for surgery.
